How the Custom OS builder works

Custom OS is our build-your-own notebook experience. Because you design the notebook after purchase, it works a little differently from a normal order.

The flow, step by step

1. Buy a Custom OS at paperos.xyz.
2. Check your email — we send you a private access code for the Custom OS builder shortly after checkout.
3. Design your OS in the builder: name your notebook, choose the inside pages you want, add optional divider pages, and design the cover. The interior is built to 120 pages.
4. Submit your design. This is the moment production starts — review everything before you submit.
5. Get your digital file. Every Custom OS order includes a custom digital PDF, delivered by email within 24 business hours after you submit your design.
6. Printed copies (if ordered) are made to order after your design is generated and reviewed, then shipped with tracking.

Didn't get your access code?

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's not there, email hello@paperos.xyz with your order number and we'll resend it.

Need to change something after submitting?

Email us as soon as possible with your order number and access code. Once the custom file has been generated or a printed copy has entered production, changes usually aren't possible — but we'll always take a look.
